Compass have a successful and proven track record, trading from our original premises in Boldmere from 1991 to 2002 when we moved to our new larger factory on the Reddicap Trading Estate.
We offer a 10 year guarantee, fully supported by an optional underwritten guarantee
policy issued by The Independent Warranty Association as required under
FENSA rules.
We dot not require a deposit to secure an order. We have a full time service engineer to provide a prompt and reliable after sales service.
THE SYSTEM
THE INSTALLATION
At Compass we manufacture our own window, door, patio and conservatory products in house
at our factory unit. As a manufacturer, our first task is to choose a raw material supplier
who can provide us with;
After extensive research and consultation with Architects and Chartered Surveyors,
in 1992 we approached and became an authorised Bowater fabricator and since that day
our products have been manufactured using WHS Bowater Halo Eclipse 70mm profile (framework)
system, which carries the British Standard Kitemarks BS7412, BS7413 and PAS 011 (Improved
Security Window Kitemark) as well as certification from the British Board of Agrément
and approval to ISO 9001/2. Bowater are also members of the Glass and Glazing Federation,
the British Plastics Federation and the British Plastics Windows Group, the leading governing
bodies in our industry.
Your installation will be carried out by one of our two highly trained in house installation teams,
under the watchful eye of Dave Hunt, Dave being one of the Directors of Compass. All products are
fitted in accordance with the code of practice as laid down by the British Plastics Window Group
in conjunction with the Home Office Crime Prevention Department. We attend site in Company vehicles
painted in our own livery. Our fitting standards are of the highest order and no payment is requested
until the job is completed to our stringent standards that experience has shown us will more than
meet your expectations.
